tata con motore rimosso dal telaio, in
quanto, con motore al banco, tutte le
operazioni di rimontaggio risultano fa-
cilitate. È comunque possibile eseg-
uire le operazioni anche con motore
installato sul motociclo.
Svitare la vite (1) e rimuovere il sen-
sore motore (8) sul coperchio alterna-
tore, facendo attenzione alla rosetta
(38), allo spessore (9) e alla
guarnizione OR (10).
Scollegare il connettore del cavo alter-
6 natore.
Svitare le viti (11), (12) e (13) di fissag-
gio coperchio alternatore.
Svitare le due viti (7) di fissaggio del
coperchietto (6) in corrispondenza
7 dell'albero motore.
Utilizzare l'attrezzo 88713.1749 fis-
sato ai fori delle viti (7) appena
rimosse.
Ruotare lentamente l'attrezzo fino ad
ottenere il distacco del coperchio (29)
dal semicarter sinistro.

Note
This operation is described for
an engine removed from frame since
all reassembly procedures are easier
under this condition. These
operations can nevertheless be
carried out also with the engine fitted
to frame.
Undo screw (1) and remove rpm
sensor (8) from the generator cover.
Take care to the washer (38), the
shim (9), and the O-ring (10).
Disconnect the generator cable
connector.
Undo the two retaining screws (7) of
the cover (6) at the crankshaft.
Undo the generator cover retaining
screws (11), (12) and (13).
Fix tool part no. 88713.1749
holes of the two screws (7) you have
just removed.
Turn the tool shaft slowly to remove
the cover (29) from the LH casing.
