Rimuovere le carene

Scaricare il liquido
dall'impianto di raffred-
damento
Rimuovere il coperchio
alternatore
Svitare e rimuovere le cinque viti (13)
di fissaggio coperchio pompa acqua
(12) al coperchio alternatore (16).
Rimuovere il coperchio pompa acqua
(12).
Pulire le canalizzazioni del coperchio
alternatore da eventuali incrostazioni
del liquido refrigerante. Verificare lo
stato di usura dei cuscinetti ruotando
l'alberino della girante (10); in caso di
gioco eccessivo è necessario
sostituirli operando come segue.
Rimuovere l'anello elastico (3)
sull'alberino della girante e la rosetta
(4) posta sotto di esso.
Sfilare la girante (10) con tenuta
meccanica (9) dal lato esterno.

Remove the generator
cover
Undo and remove the five screws

(13) fixing the coolant pump cover
(12) to the generator cover (16).
Remove the coolant pump cover (12).
Clean off any coolant deposits in the
generator cover ducts. Rotate the
rotor shaft (10) slightly to check
bearings for wear. If there is
excessive play, change the bearings
as follows.
Remove the snap ring (3) and the
washer (4) on the rotor shaft.
Remove the rotor (10) and seal (9)
from the outside.
