Chapter 5: Handling the printer

5.5.2 Cleaning the heads

When there are some missing nozzles, a cleaning should be done. Depending on the quantity of missing
nozzles and which head, a little, normal or powerful cleaning on head 1-2, head 3-4 or ALL could be done.
Verify the following regarding the condition of the printer.
Step 1 :
It is not currently printing
I)
Press the [F2] key of the operation panel.
Step 2 :
To shift to the cleaning menu.
I)
Press the [F1] key or the [F2] key on the operation panel.
Step 3 :
The product will perform following operations:
I)
Setup items
Key name
Cut & Feed
F1
F2
Press the [ENTER] key to start the requested cleaning.

5.5.3 Controlling the heater elements

If you want to change or check the heater elements, follow the steps below.
Verify the following regarding the condition of the printer.
Step 1 :
It is not currently printing

Press the [F3] key of the operation panel.
Step 2 :
To shift to the heater menu.

The 'heater message' can be one of the following:
Heater standby
o
Heater warming up
o
Heater ready
o
'A' stands for the heater.
'B' stands for the fixer.
'C' stands for the post fixer.
'D' stands for the dryer.
'S' stands for the Set-temperature (requested temperature).
'R' stands for the Real-temperature (actual temperature).
