Example
The following example enables the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP)
Broadcast and Anycast client on an interface.
console(config)# sntp client enable
The sntp client enable Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel, VLAN)
mode command enables the Simple Network Time Protocol (SNTP) client on an
interface. This applies to both receive Broadcast and Anycast updates. Use the no
form of this command to disable the SNTP client.
Syntax
sntp client enable
no sntp client enable
Default Configuration
The SNTP client is disabled on an interface.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel, VLAN) mode
User Guidelines
Use the sntp broadcast client enable Global Configuration mode command to
enable Broadcast clients globally.
Use the sntp anycast client enable Global Configuration mode command to enable
Anycast clients globally.
