Example
The following example clears messages from the internal logging buffer.
Console# clear logging
Clear Logging File [y/n]
The logging file Global Configuration mode command limits syslog messages
sent to the logging file based on severity. Use the no form of this command to
cancel using the buffer.
Syntax
level
logging file
no logging file
Parameters
level
— Specifies the severity level of syslog messages sent to the logging
file. Possible values are: emergencies, alerts, critical, errors, warnings,
notifications, informational and debugging.
Default Configuration
The default severity level is errors.
