LIGHTS/METERS/SWITCHES
Check for continuity between the combination
meter connector of the wire harness side and
ground.
CONNECTION: Pink/Green (+) – Ground (–)
There should be no continuity.
If there is continuity, check for short circuit in Pink/
Green wire.
• If the above inspection are normal, replace the
VS sensor with a new one, and recheck.
REMOVAL/INSTALLATION
Remove the sensor protector (page 18-25).
Disconnect the VS sensor 3P connector.
Remove the bolt and VS sensor.
Remove the O-ring and replace it with a new one.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
• Coat a new O-ring with engine oil.
• Route the wire harness properly (page 1-19).
