Remove the dust seal.
Remove the lower inner race with a chisel or equiv-
alent tool, being careful not to damage the stem.
Press a new lower bearing inner race using a special
tool and hydraulic press.
TOOL:
Attachment, 35 mm I.D.
Apply grease (page 15-30) to a new lower dust seal
lip and install it onto the steering stem.
Drive in a new lower outer race into the steering
head pipe using the special tools.

Attachment, 52 x 55 mm
Drive in a new upper outer race into the steering
head pipe using the special tools.
TOOLS:

Attachment, 42 x 47 mm
