• Before starting the inspection, check for loose or
poor contact on the O
recheck the MIL blinking.
1. O Sensor Open Circuit Inspection

Turn the ignition switch OFF.
Connect the test harness to the ECM 33P connec-
tor (page 6-14).
Disconnect the O
Check the continuity between the test harness
terminal and the O
the wire harness side.
Connection: A3 – Black/Orange
Is there continuity?
YES
NO
2. O Sensor Short Circuit Inspection

Disconnect the test harness and ECM 33P con-
nector disconnected.
Check for continuity between the O
terminal and ground.
Connection: Black/Orange – Ground
Is there continuity?
YES
