DRIVE AND DRIVEN PULLEYS/CLUTCH
Apply engine oil to new bearing cavity.
Drive the bearing into the left crankcase cover
squarely until it is fully seated, using the special
tools.
TOOLS:
Driver
Attachment, 42 x 47 mm
Pilot, 20 mm
INSTALLATION
Check the rubber seal and replace it if necessary.
Clean the rubber seal groove in the left crankcase
cover.
Install the rubber seal onto the left crankcase cover.
Install the two dowel pins into the left crankcase.
Install the left crankcase cover onto the left crank-
Be careful not to
case by aligning the holes with the dowel pins.
damage the rubber
seal.
Install the left crankcase cover bolts (8 mm head)
and tighten them in a crisscross pattern in 2 or 3
steps.
Set the wire clamp and tighten the bolt (10 mm
head).
Install the belt case air cleaner housing (page 4-16).
