Type—Choose VC_HO_PATH_CIRCUIT or VC_LO_PATH_CIRCUIT.
Size—Depending on the type selected, choose the server trail size. For VC_HO_PATH_CIRCUIT,
choose VC4-2c, VC4-3c, VC4-4c, VC4-6c, VC4-8c, VC4-12c, VC4-16c, VC4-64c, or VC4. For
VC_LO_PATH_CIRCUIT, choose VC3, VC12, or VC11.
Protection Type—Choose one of the following protection types: Preemptible, Unprotected, or
Fully Protected. The server trail protection determines the protection type for any circuits that
traverse it.
Number of Trails—Enter the number of server trails. You can create multiple server trails from the
same port. The maximum number is determined by how many circuits of a particular server trail size
can be supported on the port.
SRLG—Enter a value for the Shared Resource Link Group (SRLG). SRLG is used by
Cisco Transport Manager (CTM) to specify link diversity. The SRLG field has no restrictions. If you
create multiple server trails from one port, you can assign the same SRLG value to all the links to
indicate that they originate from the same port.
From the Node drop-down list, choose the node where the source will originate.
From the Slot drop-down list, choose the slot.
From the Port drop-down list, choose the port.
