FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection)
MAP SENSOR REMOVAL/INSTALLA-
Remove the air cleaner housing (page 5-64).
Remove the screw and MAP sensor f r o m the air
cleaner housing.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.
IAT SENSOR
REMOVAL/ INSTALLATION
Remove the air cleaner housing (page 5-64).
Remove the screws and IAT sensor f r o m the air clean-
er housing cover.
Installation is in the reverse order of removal.

ECT SENSOR

RE M OVA L/I N STALLATIO N
Replace the ECT
sensor while the
engine is coid
Drain the coolant from the system (page 6-4).
Open and support the front end of the fuel tank (page
3-4).
Disconnect the ECT sensor connector from the sensor.
Remove the ECT sensor and sealing washer.
Install the new sealing washer and ECT sensor.
Tighten the ECT sensor to the specified torque.
TORQUE: 23 N-m
Connect the ECT sensor connector.
Fill the cooling system with recommended coolant
(page 6-5).
