FUEL SYSTEM (Programmed Fuel Injection)
Connect the fast idle
then tighten the hose bands securely.
Connect the throttle cable ends t o the throttle drum.
Install the throttle cable guide bracket t o the throttle
body,
then tighten the bolts t o the specified torque.
TORQUE: 3 N-m (0.35 kgf-m, 2.5 Ibf-ft)
Install the removed parts in the reverse order o f
removal.
INSPECTION
Start the engine and let it idle.
Confirm the injector operating sounds w i t h a sound-
ing rod
If the injector does not operate, replace
REMOVAL
Remove the throttle body (page 5-67).
Remove the bolts and fuel pipe assembly.
