SHOCK ABSORBER DISPOSAL
PROCEDURE
Remove the damper reservoir cap.
Put on safety glasses, then release the nitrogen f r o m

Point the valve away from you to prevent debris
getting in your eyes.
Before disposing of the shock absorber, release the
nitrogen by pressing the valve core. Then remove
the valve f r o m the shock absorber reservoir.
INSTALLATION
Install the shock absorber into the frame f r o m the bot-
tom, and install the upper mounting b o l t h u t .
Tighten the nut t o the specified torque.
TORQUE: 93 N-m (9.5 kgf-m, 69 Ibf-ft)
Install the shock arm plates, arm plate b o l t s h u t s and
shock absorber lower mounting b o l t h u t .
Tighten the nuts t o the specified torque.
TORQUE: 44 N-m (4.5 kgf-m, 33 Ibfoft)
