Clean the cylinder head assembly with solvent and
b l o w out all oil passages with compressed air.
Install the tappet hole protector into the valve lifter
bore.

Install the valve spring seats.
Install the new stem seals.

and exhaust valve
stem seal.
Lubricate the valve stems with molybdenum disulfide
oil and insert the valve into the valve guide.
To avoid damage t o the stem seal, turn the valve
slowly when inserting.
Install the valve springs with the tightly w o u n d coils
The exhaust valve
spring has a pink facing the combustion chamber.
