VALVE GUIDE REPLACEMENT

Heat the cylinder head t o 100
with a hot plate or oven.
To avoid burns, wear heavy gloves when handling the
heated cylinder head.
Do not
cause warpage.
Support the cylinder head and drive out the valve
guides f r o m combustion chamber side of the cylinder
head.
TOOL:
Valve guide driver, 4.5 m m
Drive in the guide to the specified depth f r o m the
of the cylinder head.

TOOL:
Valve guide driver, 4.5 m m
Let the cylinder head cool to r o o m temperature.
Ream the new valve guide after installation.
Use cutting oii on
the reamer during Insert the reamer f r o m the combustion chamber side
