Remove the fork pipe bushing, slider bushing, back-
u p ring, oil seal, stopper ring and dust seal f r o m the
fork pipe.

Fork spring
Measure the fork spring free length.
SERVICE LIMIT: 250.8 mm
Fork pipe/slider/damper
Check the fork pipe and fork slider for score marks,
scratches, or excessive or abnormal wear.
Replace any components which are worn or damaged.
Check the fork damper for damage.
Check the oil lock valve for wear or damage.
Replace the fork damper assembly, if any components
are damaged.
