FRONT WHEEL/SUSPENSlON/STEERlNG
LOWER BEARING REPLACEMENT
Temporarily install the steering stem nut onto the
stem t o prevent the threads f r o m being damaged
when removing the lower bearing f r o m the stem.
Remove the lower bearing with a chisel or equivalent
tool, being careful not t o damage the stem.
Remove the dust seal.
Apply grease t o new dust seal lips and install it over
the steering stem.
Install a new lower bearing using a special tool and a
hydraulic press.
