Upgrading an existing S8300A to R3.0 using the Wizards

If using IA770:

Restore AUDIX data

Saving translations
3.
Installing IA770 service pack (or RFU) files and optional language files, if any
Complete the upgrade process (S8300 is the primary controller):

To check media modules
5.
To enable scheduled maintenance
6.
To busy out trunks
7.
To check for translation corruption
8.
To resolve alarms
9.
To re-enable alarm origination
10.
To back up the system
11.
To restart LSPs (if any)
