Purpose
Performs an original detection scan.
Picks up paper.
Turns on and off the laser by video
signals, and develops and transfers
the selected color.
Discharges paper. The transfer drum
is freed of charges (cleaned).
Stabilizes the sensitivity of the
photosensitive drum, and measures
and controls the surface potential of
the drum. Takes measurements for
shading correction.
