B. Controlling the C Sensor
The copier is equipped with a C sensor (PS4) to control the timing at which the transfer output
and internal/external static eliminator output is generated, thereby enabling increases in copying
speed.
The sensor is found inside the transfer drum, and is used to control the timing of high-voltage
output in relation to the position of paper.
The relationship between the C sensor and the signal plate is as follows:
