1 Is the separation claw soiled?
2 Does the fixing roller rotate
smoothly?
3 Is the upper/lower roller deformed
or scratched?
4 Is the inlet guide soiled with toner
or the like?
5 Is the nip (pressure) as indicated?
6 Is the cleaning belt taken up
normally?
7 Is the surface of the thermistor
soiled?
8 Does the delivery sensor lever
move smoothly?
9 Is the internal/external delivery
sensor (PS12/PS31) operating
normally?
10 Does the internal/external delivery
roller rotate smoothly?
11 Is the delivery paper deflecting
plate operating normally?

YES Clean it with solvent.
NO Check the fixing roller
drive assembly.
YES Replace the roller.
YES Clean the guide with
solvent.
NO Adjust the nip.
NO Check the take-up
mechanism of the
cleaning belt.
YES Clean the thermistor
with solvent.
NO Adjust the lever so that
it moves smoothly.
NO Replace the sensor.
NO Check the delivery roller
drive assembly.
NO Check the delivery plate

solenoid (SL10).
