@@To remove bearing, heat@mounting flange to
ap-
proximately 175°-200°C (350°-400°
F)
using a propane
torch. Then strike cover on hard flat surface and bearing
will fallout.
WARNING: Always
wear
protective
gloves, to
avoid
burns while handling cover.
ASSEMBLY

@To install bearing, use a press to push bearing in
mounting flange.
@At gear assembly, apply a light coat of grease on gear
teeth
.

Always check for
spring
clip and clamp tightness.

@@CAUTION: On
electric
start models, it is re-
