INSTALLATION
Make sure that starter and engine mating surfaces are
free of grime . Serious trouble may arise if starter is not
properly aligned .
Install starter.
Connect the red battery cable and the red wire to the
large terminal of the solenoid Connect red/green wire
to small terminal of solenoid.
Connect black cable to battery.

TROUBLE SHOOTING
Causes of troubles are not necessarily in the starting
system (starter) but may be due to a faulty battery,
switches, electrical cables and / or connections . Trouble
may also be attributed to a malfunctioning of the ignition
system and / or fuel system. The following trouble shooting
table is limited to the starting system .
•
WARNING: Short circuiting the electric starter is
always a danger, therefore disconnect the ground
cable at the battery before carrying out any kind of
maintenance on the starting system . Do not place tools
on battery.
