To adjust. Loosen the rear idler wheel retaining screw
and the adjuster bolt
lock
nut; the loosen or tighten the
adjuster bolts located on the
inner side
of the rear idler
wheels.
O
NOTE: If the track tension
is
too loose, the track
will have a tendency to thump.
Tension
(for
Blizzard 5500 MX and Sonic
MX)
Lift rear of vehicle and support it with a stand. Allow the
track to extend normally. Adjust the gap between track
and slider
shoe
between 10 mm
&
13 mm
(3/8"

when pulling down
on
the track with a force of 3 kg (6.5
Ibs).

CAUTION:
Too
much or too
little tension
will

result
in
power loss and excessive stresses on sus-
pension components.
SECTION 05 SUSPENSION
SUB-SECTION 05 (TRACK)
To adjust, loosen the rear idler wheel retaining screw
and the adjuster bolt lock nut, then loosen or tighten the
adjuster bolts.

NOTE:
If the track tension is too loose, the track
will have a tendency to thump.
Alignment
(bogie
wheel all models)
With rear of vehicle supported off the ground, start
engine and allow the track to rotate slowly.
Check if track is well centered and turns evenly on rear
sprockets.
Distance
between edge of track and link plate
must be equal on both sides. (If applicable, ensure link
plate springs are in the middle position of the 3 position
slotted anchors).

WARNING: Before checking track alignment,
en-
sure that the track
is free
of all particles which
could be thrown out while track
is
rotating. Keep
hands,
feet, tools and clothing clear of track
.
