Description
: GPRS is preferentially used; should
GPRS not be available, UMTS is used.

Note
An incoming data call (PPP dialin or ISDN login via V.110)
can generally only be set up via GSM. Setup for UMTS is
generally only possible if the provider has activated this
functionality on demand.
When a modem is in the "up" state and Preferred Network
Type is not
, the modem normally logs in to the
GMS network, so that incoming data calls can be signalled.
If a connection to the Internet is then established, there oc-
curs a switch to the UMTS network, provided that UMTS is
currently available.
Here you select the gateway subsystem to which an incoming
call over the modem is to be assigned.
Possible values:
(default value): The call is assigned to the ISDN
Login subsystem.
: The call is assigned to the PPP subsystem.
: No call is accepted.
Only for UMTS/HSDPA/HSUPA Status = Init Sequence
Enter the PIN for your UMTS modem card.
Note: Entering a wrong PIN blocks communication until the
entry is corrected.
