Performing the PM

Every PM, perform all of the following procedures in the order listed:
1. Print a "flat-field inspection" film (i.e., gray-out) to compare against the
film after PM is complete.
FILM SAVER
2. Insert the FILM SAVERS.
3. Press the "unlock" button on the LOCAL PANEL.
NOTE:
The FILM TRAY must be removed within 30 seconds after pressing
the "unlock" button. Otherwise, the FILM TRAY will re-lock
automatically.
4. Remove the FILM TRAYS.
5. De-energize the IMAGER (see Installation Instructions,
the IMAGER" on page
6. Open:

TOP COVER.
•
FRONT COVER.
•
PROCESSOR COVER.
7. Remove:
•
LEFT PANEL (see Adjustments And Replacements,
on page 3-12)
•
RIGHT PANEL (see Adjustments And Replacements,
PANEL" on page
•
