Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Detecting Criteria
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
BA:DTC P0340 CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR "A" CIRCUIT
(BANK 1 OR SINGLE SENSOR)
1. OUTLINE OF DIAGNOSIS
Detect the open or short circuit of the camshaft position sensor.
Judge as NG when the number of camshaft signals remains abnormal.

nals = When normal, there will be
3 cam signals for every 2 engine
revolutions.

4. GENERAL DRIVING CYCLE
Always perform the diagnosis continuously.
