Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Detecting Criteria
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
• Idle speed diagnosis
Abnormality Judgement
Judge as NG when the following conditions are established after the predetermined time.

Malfunction Criteria
Continuous time of (Target engine speed
– Actual engine speed > –100 rpm)
(except for WRX-SS model)
Continuous time of (Target engine speed
– Actual engine speed > –200 rpm)
(WRX-SS model)
Continuous time of (actual retard amount
> 30 °CA)
Time Needed for Diagnosis: 14 seconds
Malfunction Indicator Light Illumination: Illuminates when malfunction occurs in 2 continuous driving cy-
cles.
Normality Judgement
Judge as OK and clear the NG if the following conditions are established.
