Password Enable

System > Password > Password Enable
Enable or disable the password setting.
If you have set the password to Enabled, the printer requires you to enter
the password set in the Password screen before you enter the Settings
menu.
The options are as follows:
• Enabled: Enable the password setting.
• Disabled: Disable the password setting.
Note:
The default password is 0310. You can change the password in Password
> Change Password > level1

Change Password

System > Password > Change Password
Change the password.
You can enter 4 to 32 characters including alphabet (capital and small let-
ters), numbers and symbols.
The setting items are as follows:
• admin: This is the setting item for factory.
Strictly for SATO authorized personnel use.
• manager: The password for accessing the Service menu.
• level1: The password for accessing the Setting menu.
Note:
The admin and manager passwords are for factory and maintenance
personnel. You cannot change these passwords.
