8.3 Network Issues

printer screen or via a printer stack light.

CUSTOMER TROUBLESHOOTING STEPS
You might be trying to clear a message on the printer by taking steps to
satisfy a sensor. For example, the printer might tell you it needs a print
platform installed to continue. If you have fulfilled this condition, but the
printer still shows the message, take the following steps:
1. Double-check the condition that should satisfy the sensor, ensuring there
is nothing obstructing the sensor.
2. On the Controller Status tab, disable the printer and re-enable it. Test the
sensor again.
3. If items 1 and 2 do not solve the issue, contact 3D Systems Service.
A leaking material cartridge cannot be repaired. Please take the following
steps if your cartridge is leaking:
1. Wearing nitrile gloves, and holding a drip tray underneath, remove the
cartridge from the machine.
a. Discard the cartridge according to all government regulations. Contact
3D Systems service to report the leak.
If you experience print-quality issues that happen with one tray, but not with
another, there is a good chance that the platform itself might be deformed in
some way. To test this, note that Figure 4 print platforms each have a unique
serial number (see below). Record all serial numbers of your platforms keep
track of which one is used on a given build. If the print platform suspected
to be deformed always has print defects, while other platforms do not,
discard the affected platform according to all government regulations. Do
not attempt to bend it back into shape.
