Material-Presence Sensor
When you open up the MCO Door to expose the Bottle Coupler, as in the
Material-Presence Sensor. This sensor detects if material is present in the Pump Delivery Tube.

Cartridge Chute - Load the material cartridge

Cartridge Coupler/MCO Door - This coupler

connects to the material-cartridge valve at the
bottom of the cartridge chute. It opens/closes
the cartridge valve to start/stop material flow
into the first set of tubing. The coupler is behind
the MCO Door. See the Material-Presence Sensor
section below to see the door open.
Cartridge-Coupler Release - Pull the ring out

and to the right to release the MCO Door and
expose the Cartridge Coupler. Only do this in the
Material Changeover Procedure
Material Pump - This is a peristaltic pump that

facilitates the flow of material into the resin tray
in the upper build chamber.
Pump-Delivery Tube - Delivers material from the

cartridge to the material pump.
Resin-Tray Delivery Tube - Delivers material from

the material pump to the resin tray in the upper
build chamber
Drip Tray - This tray is meant to catch any
G
material drips or leaks within the MDM. Please
see the section
information.
Material Flow Start - Material starts from the
material cartridge.
Material Flow to Resin Tray - Material gets
pumped from the peristaltic pump and flows
through to the resin tray.
