6.2 Printer User Interface
In addition to the touch screen at the Controller, each Printer in your Modular system has its own local display in the upper-left-
hand corner. This is a context-specific display that displays a different, single option depending on the state the Printer is in.
Each screen you may see will have the following basic components:
6.2.1 Printer Messages
Each Printer's screen displays four types of color-coded messages:
6.2.1.1 Code Blue Messages
The following are common Code Blue Messages and their definitions. This is not a complete list, but is to made to give an
example of each type of Context Button on a Code Blue screen.

Module Name - The name currently assigned the

Printer Message Area - Displays a context-specific

message depending on the state of the Printer.

Context Button - Displays an interactive, context-

specific button depending on what is in the
Printer Message Area.
Code Blue Message - Indicates that the Printer is functioning
normally and does not require any further action. A blue
message may contain an action to perform; but this action
is not necessary for normal operation. Please see the section

Code Yellow Message - Indicates that the Printer needs
attention to resume normal operation; but the operator does
not have to attend to the unit immediately. Please see the
section

Code Red Message - Indicates that the Printer needs the
immediate attention of the operator. Please see the section

Code Gray Message - Indicates information that is only
displayed for informational purposes. No interaction is
available. Please see the section
