HOW TO CLEAR
STATE
Flashing red
This message appears if there is a
material leak detected when the machine
IS printing.
1. Inspect resin tray and upper-build
chamber for leaking material.
a. If you suspect that the resin tray
is leaking, perform the steps in
the section

b. If overflow is observed, turn off
the printer. Refer to troubleshooting
item HW4
Cease operation of the printer and
contact 3D Systems Service.
2. Remove the MDM front panel and
inspect both the
MDM Drip Tray
a. Inspect MCO tubing, inside of MDM,
upper build chamber and cartridge
for cause of leak.
b. If MCO tubing is found to have
a leak, perform the procedure
Remove/Replace MCO Tubing Only
c. If cartridge is found to have a leak,
remove and replace it according
to
section.
d. Clean both drip trays, and spill
sensor, according to the section

3. If there is little, or no, material in
either drip tray: inspect the Spill Sensor.
Ensure it is properly seated in its
mounting bracket. If it is not seated
properly, the system will think there is
a material leak.
