Purpose
Setting
Function (Purpose) Used to set the operating conditions for the
density scanning (exposure) of mono-
chrome auto copy mode documents.

The densities of the all surface of document are
scanned sequentially, and the output image density is
determined according to the average of the scanned
densities. (The output image density is even for all the
surface.)
AE WIDTH FULL
The document density scan area in the monochrome
auto mode is 3 - 7mm at the document lead edge x
the document width. This is not related to the prescan
mode.
AE WIDTH PART
The document density scan area in the monochrome
auto mode is 3 - 7mm at the document lead edge x
100mm width. This is not related to the PRESCAN
mode.

Function (Purpose) Copy color balance adjustment (Manual
adjustment)

Operation/Procedure
1)
Select an adjustment target color with [K][C][M][Y] keys on the
touch panel.
2)
Select an adjustment target item with [↑] [↓] key on the touch
panel.
3)
Enter the set value with 10-key.
* When the
key is pressed, the setting value of each
item can be changed with 1up (1down) collectively.
4)
Press [OK] key. (The set value is saved.)
When the adjustment value is increased, the image density is
increased, and vice versa.
When [EXECUTE] key is pressed, the check pattern in printed in
the color balance and density corresponding to the adjustment
value.
