– Install the selector lever cable heat shield bolts -1, 3 and 4-, if
equipped.
Vehicles with a 3.0L TDI Engine
– Attach the hoses -arrows- for the Differential Pressure Sensor
- G505- to the pressure lines on the particulate filter according
to the color markings made earlier.
All Vehicles
– Install the rubber grommet -arrow- on the selector lever cable
in the selector mechanism function unit lower section.
– Shifter mechanism function unit, installing. Refer to
⇒ "4.2 Shift Mechanism Function Unit, Removing and Instal‐
ling", page 42 .
– Adjust selector lever cable. Refer to
⇒ "5.3 Selector Lever Cable, Adjusting", page 64
– Install the rear noise insulation. Refer to ⇒ Body Exterior; Rep.
Gr. 66 ; Underbody Trim Panels .
