ATF flows out of the overflow pipe.
Note
Even if the level of oil is too low, first a small amount will flow
out of the overflow tubes, because it fills during operation.
The ATF inspection plug must be installed again before the
ATF reaches a temperature of 45 °C (113 °F) (50 °C (122 °F)
with hot climates).
If ATF leaks from ATF check hole before temperature has
reached 40 °C (104 °F), ATF level arrow is OK.
If no ATF drips out of the ATF check hole before 40 °C (104 °
F) is reached, then the ATF level is not OK. Fill the ATF. Refer
to
⇒ page 89
.
If ATF is OK:
– Replace the check plug gasket -arrow-.
– Tighten the ATF check plug -1- with a new gasket, tightening
specification. Refer to
The ATF level test is now completed.
– Turn off the engine.
– Install the rear noise insulation. Refer to ⇒ Body Exterior; Rep.
Gr. 66 ; Underbody Trim Panels .
