Follow all disposal regulations for transmission fluids.
Caution
The -VAS6262A- must be clean and the ATF must not be
mixed with another fluid!
– Shake before opening.
– Attach the ATF container to the Oil Filler - VAS6262A- . Refer
to the Parts Catalog.
Note
Use adapter for oil filling -VAS6262A- if the thread on the con‐
tainer does not fit -VAS6262/6- .
– Fill 6 liters (6.3 qts) of ATF.
Note
Only 3.5-4 liters (3.7-4.2 quarts) of ATF must be added if the ATF
pan was not removed. This is not enough for an ATF change.
– Start the engine and let it run in idle.
– With engine idling depress the brake pedal and shift the se‐
lector lever through all the selector lever positions leaving the
selector lever at least 10 seconds in each position.
– Move the selector lever into "N".
– Increase the RPM to 2000 and hold it there for at least 60 sec‐
onds.
– Move the selector lever into "P".
– ATF level, checking and filling. Refer to
