– Remove the starter. Refer to ⇒ Electrical Equipment; Rep. Gr.
27 ; Starter .
– Remove the bolts -arrows- and the generator bracket.
– Remove the bolts -1 and 2-.
Note
Ignore item -3-.
– Place the -SMN372500- under the transmission.
Note
Pay attention to the rules of cleanliness when working on an au‐
tomatic transmission. Refer to
⇒ "8.3 Transmission, Clean Working Conditions", page 12
– Remove the bolts -1 and 2- and then remove the ATF pipes
from the transmission.
– Seal any open lines and connections with a clean plug from
the -VAS6122- .
– Remove the bolt -1-.
