8-8-6 Setting the BIOS
NOTE: This procedure is applicable to MODBR964 version.
NOTE: To reset the BIOS password, one can remove the real time battery for a period longer than 10 secs,
then reconnect it. (It is recommended to replace the battery once every 2 years).
1) While booting, press F2 "Config / Diag" on alphanumeric keyboard
2) Type the password "marlin04".
3) Exit and save presets.
4) Select <Exit> section and load "Setup Defaults".
5) Select <Main> section.
6) Set correct system time and Date. Set Date using next format
7) Check that IDE primary master is detected.
8) Select <Advanced> section
9) Perform the following changes in the "Advanced":
\Advanced\PnP OS Installed
\Advanced\Secured Setup Configuration
\Advanced\PCI configuration\Assign IRQ to PCI VGA
\Advanced\IO Device Configuration\Serial Port A
\Advanced\IO Device Configuration\Serial Port B
\Advanced\IO Device Configuration\OnChip Audio Device
10) Perform the following changes in the <Security>:
\Security\Set Supervisor Password
\PNP/PCI\IDE DMA transfer access
11) Perform the following changes in the <Power>
\Power\Wake Up Events\IRQ1
\Power\Wake Up Events\IRQ12
\Power\Wake Up on LAN
