MESSAGE PROBLEM
(touchscreen console)
kV / mA Fault The generator has detected a fault in
the kV or mA output during an
exposure and immediately
terminated the exposure. This may
be caused by arcing in the X-ray
tube, arcing of the HV cables, or HT
tank.
Power Supply Not Ready The generator is not ready to make
an exposure.
mA During Exposure Generator CPU detected mA greater
Too High than allowed tolerance.
mA During Exposure Generator CPU detected mA less
Too Low than allowed tolerance.
Manually Terminated Operator released exposure switch
Exposure during exposure.
AEC Back-up Timer - AEC exposure exceeded allowed
Exposure Terminated back up time.
AEC mAs Exceeded - AEC exposure exceeded allowed
Exposure Terminated back up mAs.
Tomo Back-up Timer – Tomo exposure exceeded backup

Troubleshooting
ACTION
1. If arcing of the X-ray tube is
suspected, check condition
of tube. The X-ray tube
may be damaged or simply
require "seasoning". Refer
to chapter 6 for tube
seasoning procedure.
2. If failure of HT tank is
suspected, contact product
support.
