Output delay, slew rate, and source delay
The following delays occur when you turn on the output and source a specified voltage and current to
device under test (DUT):
Output delay: The period that the instrument waits before enabling and disabling the specified
output.
Slew rate: The rate of change of output voltage per unit of time.
Source delay: The time between when the source reaches the V
measurement is made.
The delays described in this section only apply to the power supply function.
Output delay
When using the Power Supply mode, you can set a delay before turning on the output or turning off
the output. The delay can range from 0.001 s to 10 s.
Using the front panel:
1. Press the MENU key.
2. Under Source, select Settings.
3. Select the button next to Output Delay. The delay window is displayed.
4. Select On to enable the output delay.
5. Select the button next to Delay Rise and enter a value.
6. Select the button next to Delay Fall and enter a value.
