EQN
fied level.
EQS
PTS
TBN
XM/SM/
Coil excitation has
XE
stopped.
XM/SM/
Process value over/under
XE
alarm limit.
XM/SM/
Power was lost to device.
XE
STT
No configuration exists in
the STT terminal
memory.
STT
STT terminal not
connected to a device.
XM/SM/
The current configuration
XE
is calling to use the empty
pipe detector which
requires and optional
board.
AVS
Pressure on output port
01 or 02 is too high.
AVS

Corrective Action
Recalibrate the field device. Refer to the
appropriate calibration section for the
device type.
NOTE: Uncalibrated field devices may have this error
until calibrated.
Eliminate or reduce temperature extreme
of the electronics.
Replace input board. Refer to repair/
replacement section of the appropriate
product instruction.
Correct process problem.
Change alarm value. Refer to
MODIFY CONFIGURATION
Appendix I.
Correct signal and recalibrate. Refer to
the appropriate calibration section for
details.
Check wiring of excitation signal and ref-
erence signal. If both are OK, call service.
Correct process problem.
Change alarm value. Refer to
MODIFY CONFIGURATION
Appendix I.
Check for loose wiring.
Restore totalizers to known values if lost.
Create configurations. Refer to
ING PROCEDURES
in Section 4.
Check STT terminal lead connections.
Verify proper field device wiring. Refer to
the installation section of the appropriate
product instruction.
Add empty pipe detector option, or turn
empty pipe detection off in the configura-
tion.
Check air pressure supply.
Refer to the repair/replacement section of
the appropriate positioner product
instruction.
