NOTE:
•
This motorcycle
is equipped with as
id
e
stand
only.
Therefore, if front
or
rear
wheel
removal is required,
it will
be necessary to
raise the
center
of the motorcycle
with
a
jack
or other firm support.
If none
avail-
able, see your authorised
Honda dealer for
this
service
.

Front
Wheel
Removal
1. Rai
se
the
front
wheel off
the
.ground by
placing a
support block under the engine.
2. Remove
the speedometer cable set screw (1)
and disconnect the speedometer cable (2).

Remove
the
calip er assembly from the
fork
leg by
removing
th
e
fixing
bolts (6).
4.
Remove
the
front
axle
holder
nuts
(3) and
the
frontal
axle
holder
(4).
5.
Unscrew the
axle (5).
Remove the
wheel.
NOTE:
•
Do not
depress
the brake lever
when
the
wheel is off the
motorcycle. The
calliper
piston will be
forced
out of
the
cylinder
with subsequent
loss of brake fluid. This
occurs, servicing of the
brake
system will
be
necessary.
