Configuring the Lightspeed Live Capture Server and Apps
Renaming or Reconfiguring Servers
Connecting the Applications for Multiple Servers
When there are multiple Capture server systems where the database and web server
reside on specific server(s) within the multiple server configuration, the Vantage client
applications and/or the Live Capture web application need to be configured to connect
to the appropriate server.
Configuring Vantage Client Applications for Multiple Servers
Since the database in a multiple server system is located on a separate server, the
Vantage client applications must "point to" that database. This is done by selecting the
database server from the Select Vantage Domain dialog in the Vantage client
applications.
Using the Vantage Desktop Client Applications
First, install the Vantage Management Console and Vantage Workflow Designer client
applications on any Windows system on your network. To use these client applications,
you must change the Vantage Domain so they connect to the server that is running the
Vantage master domain database.
Select Change Vantage Domains from the File menu of each client application to open
the Select Vantage Domain dialog.
Note: To learn more about the Vantage Management Console or Vantage Workflow
Designer, click the ? icon or use the Help menu to open the searchable Vantage User
Guide. The ? opens to the topic that matches the area of the user interface that you are
using.
