Configuring an RTMP Source
The RTMP Configure Source dialog opens when you create or edit an RTMP source.
Telestream recommends limiting RTMP/Transport Stream sources to eight, unless
testing in your environment indicates you can enable more.
Note: The options for an RTMP source can only be changed when you are adding it.
After the source has been added, only the name can be changed. When an RTMP
source is connected, the name can't be changed either. When you require an RTMP
source with different settings, add a new RTMP source and configure it accordingly.
Note: You must first add an RTMP Source to Live Stream before you can start
ingesting the RTMP source.
The RTMP Configure Source dialog provides these options:
•
•
•
•
•
Note: The LOS Audio Test Signal is not available for RTMP sources.
•
Name—Specifies the name to use in Live Stream.
Stream Name—Specifies the name of this RTMP stream source. The Stream Name
can be changed multiple times until an RTMP stream source is connected. After an
RTMP stream has connected, the Stream Name can't be changed.
Max Time-Shift—Specifies the size of the internal Time-Shift buffer that is used to
delay the source.
Freeze on LOS—When enabled, causes the source to hold the last good frame if
there is a loss of signal.
LOS Video Test Pattern—Select the test pattern to display when there is a LOS.
Assign Processor—When enabled, assigns this source and its dependents to a sin-
gle, multi-core CPU socket. This prevents inefficient mapping of processes across
