Proxy TIFO Output
wrapper that is essence-agnostic, with out-of-band metadata, timecode, and closed
caption support.
Using TIFO improves the ability to move media files between Telestream's media
processing solutions with all media essence elements and metadata intact, preserving
the widest range of transcoding options.
Note: TIFO files can be opened as they are being captured, by Telestream's Switch
player and Vantage systems at a time when the captured file reports a non-zero file
size. Requires Switch 4.0 or later.

Container Settings

The TIFO Container wraps the specified media into a TIFO file format.

General

File Extension. Specifies .tifo. No other extensions are provided.

Aspect Ratio Mode

Aspect Ratio Mode. Specifies how to set the display or pixel aspect ratio of the output.
- Automatic - Set the aspect ratio setting automatically, based on detected content.
- Display Aspect Ratio - Specifies 4:3 | 16:9.
- Pixel Aspect Ratio - Specifies the selected pixel aspect ratio.

Codec

Codec. Specifies which codec to use to encode video streams. For details, see the
appropriate topic following.
