Log Panel

The Log Panel displays the selected tape source and allows adding new tapes, controls
the current clip to be extracted from tape, logs clip to a list when you press the Log
button, and captures clips in the Clip Log to media files when you press Capture.
To begin using the Log Panel, use the default tape or add a tape and select it in the
Tapes list, use the Preview Player and the current clip in the Clip Log to mark in and
mark out the clip start and end points, and click Log to enter the clip into the log.
Repeat as required, and when ready to capture the clips to media files, click Capture.

Note: To close dialogs, you can use the mouse, or you can press Enter to confirm or
Esc to cancel. When editing timecode, click on a pair of digits to edit them. Use Tab to
move between digits. Pressing Enter brings the focus back to the entire timecode and
retains changes. Esc exits timecode edits without saving changes.
Workflow Name—The top left corner displays the selected workflow name. To change
this, change the workflow selected in the Workflow panel.
