string that is embedded in the output should be viewable in the following supported
editing applications: Avid Media Composer and Adobe Premiere Pro.
Timecode Track. None, Hidden, or Visible.
Caption Track. (Closed caption track) None, C608, or C708.
Default Duration. The maximum possible duration for a captured file.

Important Information about Default Duration

Be aware that the Default Duration is the maximum possible duration that can be
captured with the QuickTime 'Open' container. The default value is set to 9 hours and
can be changed to any value less than 9 hours by a user.
The QuickTime 'Open' container's Default Duration is used to set the initial duration
written to the QuickTime 'Open' file's header. This value will be reported by the
QuickTime media file when it is opened by a media player or edit application while the
captured file is being written to and is growing. If a capture session is stopped before
the Default Duration is reached the QuickTime 'Open' process will update the captured
file's QuickTime header with the actual captured duration of the clip.
Here are three possible scenarios that you may encounter when using the QuickTime
'Open' container:
1. A capture session is stopped before reaching, or exactly at, the Default Duration set
2. Your capture session attempts to record to a duration that is beyond the Default
in the Workflow. In these cases the Workflow will complete successfully. The
captured QuickTime file's header will be updated with the actual captured duration
of the clip.
Duration set in the Workflow. In this case the associated Workflow's origin action
(and any subsequent downstream actions) will indicate that they have 'FAILED' . The
Capture origin action will report the following error:
".... Failed to write sample. The Default Duration of this workflow has been reached.
Capture actions configured with a QuickTime 'Open' container will automatically stop
at the container's Default Duration regardless of the requested record duration. The
output file created by this action will contain a duration equal to the Default Duration.
