3. Use the Create a new Nexus definition button
create at least one Channel Group Nexus definition, setting the type to Capture or
Tape Capture. Workflows built using a Tape Capture origin action are assigned to
Tape Capture Channel Groups, while workflows built with a Capture origin action
are assigned to Capture Channel Groups.
4. Select Capture or Tape Capture in the dialog that opens, and click OK to add a new
nexus.
5. In the Name field, type the name you want, and add optional information in the
Description field.
6. In the Permitted Users section (visible only if User Administration is enabled in the
Settings & Options > General tab) you can assign Permitted Users by clicking on a
user in the left list, and clicking Add to move them to the right list. You can check
Everyone (Public Access) (this is the default) to allow all users access to that nexus.
Use Remove to move a selected user on the right to the non-permitted list on the
left. This disables that user's access. Each nexus can have its own Permitted Users.
The list of Available users is created by adding user accounts in the Users panel. See
Configuring Settings for Your Facility
Note: Users with administrator privileges will have access whether they are included,
or not, in the Permitted Users list.
