Video Performance Setting
Indicates the video quality setting to use when encoding the video stream. A higher
value results in higher quality and increases the encode time. The default is 9 and the
range is 0 to 31.
Video Buffer Verifier
Choose to specify Video Buffer Verifier buffer size and delay settings, or to use default
settings.
- Do not specify VBV settings
- Specify VBV settings
VBV Buffer Size
When Specify VBV Settings is selected, this setting specifies the size of the VBV buffer in
kbps. Larger values allow the encoder greater flexibility during encoding.
VBV Delay
When Specify VBV Settings is selected, this setting specifies how much time is allowed
between the transmission of the first frame and its actual decode. Larger values allow
the encoder greater flexibility during encoding.
